How the Payout System Works in the Simply Bread App

In this article, we’ll explain how your payouts are processed and scheduled when you use the Simply Bread App. You’ll learn how funds move from transactions to your bank account and how you can choose your payout schedule.
The Payout Process Explained
Every transaction made through the Simply Bread App goes through a settlement period in Stripe. This settlement period typically lasts about 48 hours. After this period, the funds from that transaction become available for payout.
In other words, once a transaction is processed, it first appears as “processing” and then shifts to “available to pay out” after the settlement period ends. We do not wait until a bake day is completed to pay out your funds—each transaction is settled and made available as soon as possible after its own settlement period.
Payout Schedules
You can choose how often available funds are automatically transferred to your bank account:

Daily: Each day, all funds that have finished settling are paid out.

Weekly: Once per week, all settled funds available at that time are paid out together.

Monthly: Once per month, all available settled funds are paid out together.

Only When Requested: No automatic payouts are sent. Funds remain available until you manually click Request Payout.
FAQ
Why don’t payouts come as one bulk payout per bake day?
Payouts are based on when individual transactions finish settling, not on the bake day they were placed under. If payouts were held until a bake day ended, funds would be delayed. Paying out per transaction allows you to receive your earnings as soon as they are available.
Can I request a payout even if I’m on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule?
Yes. Regardless of the automatic payout schedule selected, you can click Request Payout at any time to pay out whatever funds are currently available — even if it’s mid-week or mid-month. Automatic schedules simply determine when payouts are sent without needing a manual request.
