Here's a straightforward breakdown of our fee structure, how these fees are applied, and your options for managing them:

Platform Fee

  • What is it? A 5% fee is applied to all transactions made through your storefront to support app maintenance and enhancements.
  • Exceptions: There is no platform fee for manually placed orders, and we refund this fee if an order is refunded.

Processing Fee

  • What is it? Stripe, our payment processor, charges a fee of 2.5% + $0.30 per transaction, applicable only to electronic payments made through the storefront.
  • Responsibility: As the bakery owner, you are responsible for these processing fees.

Managing The Fees

  • Platform Fee Choices: You decide who pays the platform fee—you, your customers, or split between both. Adjust these settings on the Tips, Taxes, and Fees page within the app.
  • Stripe Fee: This fee is typically covered by you, the business owner.
