Oven Stands for the Simply Bread Oven

While Simply Bread does not manufacture or sell a dedicated oven stand, we’ve put together the following guidelines to help you choose or build a safe and stable option for your setup.

We recommend several pre-made oven stands available from WebstaurantStore. These stands meet the key requirements for supporting the Simply Bread Oven and are a convenient option if you're looking for a ready-to-use solution.

Important considerations:

  • These stands may be taller than your desired height. You can cut the stand legs down to achieve your desired working height.

  • Although many models offer wheels as an option, we do not recommend using them. In our experience, wheeled stands are less stable and introduce unnecessary risk.

Guidelines for Alternative or Custom Stands

If you choose not to use one of the stands we’ve listed, here are the specifications we recommend for any stand used with the Simply Bread Oven.

Minimum Dimensions

  • The stand should be at least 30 inches wide and 30 inches deep to accommodate the oven footprint safely.

Material and Build Requirements

  • Metal stands (similar to the commercial-grade stands we recommend) should be constructed from at least 16-gauge stainless steel.

  • Wooden stands are acceptable. The bottom of the oven does not get hot, so there is no risk of heat damage to a wooden surface. As long as the dimensions and weight capacity are appropriate, a wooden frame is a safe option.

  • Custom welded stands are also acceptable, provided they are well-constructed, stable, and meet all the other recommendations listed here.

Weight Rating

  • The stand must be rated to hold a minimum of 500 pounds. This ensures adequate support for the oven and accounts for any potential movement during operation. (The oven itself with the stones inside weighs ~400 pounds.)

Wheels and Mobility

  • We do not recommend the use of wheels, even locking casters. While it is technically possible to add wheels to a stand, doing so introduces an element of instability that we do not endorse.

Do We Sell a Simply Bread Oven Stand?

No. Simply Bread does not currently offer a custom-built or branded oven stand. The guidance in this article is meant to support your decision-making process in choosing or building a stand that is both safe and functional for your baking needs.
